Calling all Water Resources/Stormwater engineers in Florida (Orlando, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach and Tampa offices). Potential for Remote
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Engineer - General Civil Engineering for the Water Resources team a part of your responsibilities will include planning, design, and construction support for Water Resources and applicable projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative land development projects with a primary focus on water resources.
  • Conduct site assessments, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, and provide technical expertise in storm water management and drainage design.
  • Develop and review engineering plans, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, offering insightful solutions to meet project goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.

Required Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
  • P.E. license
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant civil engineering experience
  • Project management experience on Water Resources/Stormwater
  • Experience managing public-sector projects (state, county, city, and federal).
  • Ability to lead, train, motivate, and work within a team
  • Ability to develop productive, long-term relationships and communicate with clients, peers, multi-disciplinary teams, and management
  • Project management experience, including developing scopes of work, reviewing invoices, and managing client communications
  • Ability to manage several subconsultants and internal staff on a multi-disciplinary team
  • Design and construction support experience with transportation projects
  • Experience mentoring junior staff
  • Prior consulting experience managing municipal (state, county, city) projects
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Project
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail, delivering quality work products, and excellent client service
